Shiela Guo, Alice Guo’s Sister, Speaks on their Escape from the Philippines
Alice Guo’s sister Shiela Guo revealed that she and her siblings exited the Philippines via a “small boat” and later on transferred to a bigger one.
Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo’s departure from the Philippines left countless Filipinos disappointed and the authorities in an embarrassing position. Several complaints were filed against Guo and there is a pending arrest order against her issued by the Senate. Her name is also in the immigration lookout bulletin.
Amid her reported departure from the Philippines, the Bureau of Immigration said that Guo left the country without passing the immigration. The authorities claim that the dismissed Mayor is currently in Indonesia where her sister and another personality accused of illegal POGO link were detained.
Alice Guo’s sister, Shiela Guo, and Cassandra Li Ong were detained in Indonesia. They were sent back to the Philippines and charges were filed against them. Shiela Guo felt unwell upon their arrival at NAIA but the authorities made sure they undergo a medical examination.
Cassandra Li Ong was brought to the House of Representatives while Shiela Guo was brought to the Senate. Recently, the sister of Alice Guo spoke with the Senate subcommittee on justice. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Shiela revealed that she and her siblings exited the Philippines through a “small boat”.
According to Shiela Guo, a van fetched them from their house in Tarlac and they traveled for several hours. She claimed that she did not know the place and she could not remember it. She claimed that they left after dinner on board a small boat.
“Sakay kami ng boat sa dagat po. Hindi ko alam ‘yung lugar,” Shiela said.
Based on the report, Alice Guo’s sister said that after a few hours of travel on board a small boat they transferred to a bigger “fishing boat” and then to another boat that brought them to Malaysia.
Previously, Senator Sherwin Gatchalian expressed his confidence that Alice Guo will be brought back to the Philippines. He has talked with the ASEAN ambassadors and they have alerted their securities.
