Sen. Gatchalian Speaks on Alice Guo Siblings’ Baptismal Certificates after Receiving Letter from Parish
ALICE GUO SIBLINGS – A Catholic Church in Caloocan denied having records of the baptismal certificates that the siblings of the suspended Bamban Mayor have.
It has been weeks now since the Senate issued an arrest order against suspended Bamban Mayor Alice Guo but she has yet to surface. The upper chamber committee cited her for contempt and an arrest order was released amid the ongoing investigation into the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming operations in the country.
Guo is accused of being involved in the illegal POGO operations in the country. Her identity is also under scrutiny after the National Bureau of Investigation, more popularly called NBI, confirmed the matching between Mayor Guo’s fingerprints and the fingerprints of Chinese national Guo Hua Ping.
The authorities checked for the presence of suspended Bamban Mayor Alice Guo in all her registered addresses but she was not there. There was also negative presence in her garments factories and her farm.
There is also a pending Senate arrest order issued against the siblings of Mayor Alice Guo. Recently, Senator Sherwin Gatchalian spoke an update regarding the documents of her siblings, Seimen Leal Guo and Wesley Guo.
Based on a report on GMA News, Sen. Gatchalian revealed that the San Roque Cathedral Parish in Caloocan stated in its letter that they have not found records of the baptismal of Seimen L. Guo and Wesley L. Guo in the church. In the baptismal certificates of the siblings of Mayor Alice Guo, it is stated that their father is Angelito Guo and their mother is Amelia Lial.
“In other words, itong baptismal certificate na binigay sa Caloocan is spurious, fake. Finake nila ‘yun,” the Senator said.
Based on the report, the baptismal certificates of the siblings of Mayor Alice Guo was issued by Antonio Alcalde. According to Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, Lucena Flores of the Caloocan City Civil Registry Office said that Alcade has passed away already.
Previously, the NBI confirmed that the brother of Guo, Wesley Leal Guo, has a matching fingerprints with Chinese citizen Guo Xiang Dan. As of this writing, the Guo siblings have yet to be located. Even Senate President Chiz Escudero is disappointed that the PNP has yet to find Guo.
