Sarah Geronimo Lauds Rescue Teams in Birthday Post
Sarah Geronimo took to social media a heartfelt post on her birthday expressing her concern for Typhoon Carina victims.
Countless Filipino families are currently facing a huge challenge to recover from the impacts of Typhoon Carina. Many families lost not only their homes but as well as their source of living to the natural disaster. Several areas in the country are currently under a State of Calamity.
Typhoon Carina has a huge impact in Luzon. It also triggered flooding in several areas in Mindanao which prompted their local government units (LGUs) to declare a State of Calamity. Previously, the Social Security System announced that the SSS Calamity Loans are ready to help the Typhoon Carina victims.

It is no secret to the public that Sarah Geronimo is an animal-lover most especially dogs. She and her husband, actor Matteo Guidicelli, have several dogs whom they treat as kids. Sadly, instances like the storm and the flooding do not only affect people but as well as animals.
Sarah recently celebrated her 36th birthday. As she marked her special day through a social media post, she expressed her gratitude for the gift of life as well as the people who make her journey special.
Sarah Geronimo admitted that as she celebrates her birthday, her heart goes out for the victims of Typhoon Carina. The actress-singer is praying for those who are recovering from the impacts of the calamity. She also lauded the rescue teams who risk their lives to save other people.
In her post, Sarah made mention of animals as she praised the rescue teams who save not only humans but as well as animals and pet owners who did not abandon their animals amid the risks posted by the storm. She stressed that the services of the rescue teams are really inspiring and the same goes for their bravery and goodness.
“Kayo ang mga tunay na superheroes ng mundo na ito. Maraming maraming salamat,” the actress-singer wrote in her post.
