PBB Housemate Therese Villamor Confesses She Didn’t Intend to Join the Reality Show
THERESE VILLAMOR – The housemate on Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 from Camarines Sur, might face early eviction after confessing she didn’t intend to join the competition. She narrated her audition story to other housemates, explaining that she initially went to audition for Star Magic, not PBB.
Therese recounted, “Nung day na audition na ‘yon, mag-isa akong pumunta. First time talaga ‘yon sakin, tapos mahiyain pa ako so grabe talaga ‘yon for me, very challenging tapos wala pa naman akong kilala, tapos pumila akong mag-isa.” She revealed that someone had convinced her mother to let her audition for PBB instead of Star Magic.
This revelation sparked backlash among netizens, who accused the show of giving her special treatment and bypassing the normal audition process. Netizens felt this was unfair to those who genuinely auditioned.
Netizens expressed their frustration with PBB. One commenter criticized the waste of audition expenses for those without connections. Another netizen commented that the show had become more of an artist search than a reality show, and one stated that PBB has become boring after Maymay’s season, with only the early seasons being worth watching.
PBB has previously faced criticism for allegedly favoring well-connected individuals over the thousands who line up to audition. As of now, Star Magic has not addressed Therese’s claims.
This incident has reignited discussions about the fairness and transparency of the PBB audition process, with many feeling that opportunities are being unfairly distributed. The controversy highlights ongoing concerns about the integrity of reality TV auditions and the influence of connections and special treatment in such shows.
