5 Movies Make It As MMFF 2024 Official Entries
MMFF 2024 – Five movies of different genres made it as the first official entries for the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival.
Are you one of the people who watch the entries of the Metro Manila Film Festival? It is one of the most popular film festivals in the Philippines and it is held every December. This year, the MMFF is on its 50th year and countless Filipinos are excited to see what the movie industry has to offer.
In the MMFF 2023, one of the hit films that gathered countless movie watchers in cinemas across the nation was Rewind, a movie top-billed by Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes and his wife, Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera. It is currently the highest-grossing movie in the Philippine entertainment industry.
Recently, the Metro Manila Film Festival held the grand launch for the 50th MMFF. It also unveiled the first five movies that made it as official entries to the MMFF 2024.
The films of Vice Ganda, Enrique Gil, Dennis Trillo, and Vic Sotto and Piolo Pascual made it as official entries in the MMFF 2024. Here are the first 5 official entries for the upcoming film festival:
AND THE BREADWINNER IS…
Vice Ganda’s movie, And the Breadwinner Is…, is one of the official entries for the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival. Produced by the ABS-CBN Films and the TheldeaFirst Company, it is a comedy-drama film with the following lead stars, director, and writers:
- Lead stars: Vice Ganda, Eugene Domingo
- Diretor: Jun Robles Lana
- Writers: Daisy Cayanan, Jumbo A. Albano, and Jun Lana
STRANGE FREQUENCIES: HAUNTED HOSPITAL
Also one of the MMFF 2024 official entries is the film Strange Frequencies: Haunted Ospital produced by the Reality MM Studios, Inc. Here are the lead stars, director, and writers of this film festival official entry:

HIMALA, ISANG MUSIKAL
The musical film Himala, Isang Musikal produced by the Kapitol Films and Uxs, Inc. is also one of the official entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024. Here are its lead stars, director, and writers:

GREEN BONES

THE KINGDOM
Also one of the first 5 official entries in the MMFF 2024 is the action-family drama movie The Kingdom. Produced by the APT Entertainment, Inc., the MZET TV Productions, Inc., and the MQuest Ventures, here are the lead stars, director, and writers of the film:
