Kapuso Actress Carla Abellana Ready To Cross Path w/ Tom Rodriguez In Case
CARLA ABELLANA – The Kapuso actress spoke on her ex-husband, actor Tom Rodriguez, who is now back in his showbiz career in the Philippines.
There are several celebrity breakups in the Philippines that left countless hearts broken. One of the celebrity breakups that hooked and shocked many people was the separation of Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez.
Tom and Carla were together for 7 years when the Kapuso actor proposed for marriage to her real and reel partner. They worked together in several hit Kapuso projects before they became real-life lovers. Among these projects were the TV series My Husband’s Lover and My Destiny.
Tom and Carla have always been vocal about their goal which is to settle down. In October 2020, the Kapuso actor proposed for marriage to the actress. They aimed for a classic-style Church wedding that sparked the excitement of countless people.
Last October 23, 2021, Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana’s wedding was held at San Juan Nepomuceno Parish Church in Batangas. However, in January 2022, it was confirmed that Tom and Carla have broken up.
The breakup of Carla and Tom was surrounded by huge rumors and speculations. Neither of the couple spoke on the rumors. He flew abroad after their separation. The Kapuso actor was in a showbiz hiatus for two (2) years. It was only recently when he returned to his showbiz career in the Philippines.

Based on a recent report in Pep, Carla Abellana is ready to cross paths with Tom Rodriguez in case it would happen. However, the Kapuso actress admitted that she does not see any reason that she needs to have a conversation with him or to gree him.
Carla expressed that there is no need to prepare on what to do in case they bump into each other. She stressed that she will not hide or avoid him.
“I don’t see the need na bumati, mag-small talk, mag-conversation… Hindi rin naman ako yung parang friends na kayo,” she said.
However, based on the article, with regards to work, Carla Abellana admitted that she is not ready to talk to Tom Rodriguez. She stressed that they must respect each other’s space. According to the Kapuso actress, she and Tom are officially divorced in the United States and the local court recognizes their divorce.
