Zanjoe Marudo, Ria Atayde Expecting Parents to First Baby
RIA ATAYDE – The actress confirmed her pregnancy with her first baby with her husband, Zanjoe Marudo, on social media.
Among the celebrity couples who officially tied the knot this 2024 are Zanjoe and Ria. Both celebrities are in the showbiz industry for years together before they became close to each other and a romantic relationship blossomed between them.
It was last March 23, 2024 when Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo had a civil wedding ceremony. They exchanged intimate wedding vows at the Quezon City Hall and it was officiated by Mayor Joy Belmonte.
The intimate civil wedding ceremony of Zanjoe and Ria gathered their family including the actress’ brother, Congressman Arjo Atayde, and his wife, Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza, and her parents, Art Atayde and veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez.
The wedding reception of Zanjoe and Ria was held at Concept Space Manila in Quezon City. It was an intimate yet star-studded celebration of union including Joshua Garcia, Kathryn Bernardo, Enchong Dee, Darren Espanto, and Daniel Padilla.
A few months prior to their wedding, there were rumors that the actress is pregnant with her then-boyfriend. Both celebrities remain mum amid the rumors and speculations. The actress’ younger sister, Gela, denied the rumors saying that the couple is trying to have a baby.
The speculations died but there are instances when eagle-eyed netizens would notice an alleged bump on the stomach of the actress. Meanwhile, what outweighs the rumors is that countless people are happy for Zanjoe and Ria who began a new chapter of their lives together.
Recently, on Father’s Day, Ria Atayde put an end to the rumors and speculations. Through a social media post, the actress confirmed that she is pregnant with her first baby with her husband, Zanjoe Marudo, as she greeted him a happy father’s day. Here’s the sweet message of the actress for her husband:
“To the dad you already are and the dad I know you’ll be. Love you @onlyzanjoemarudo, so excited for this new chapter with you [white heart emoji] Happy first Father’s Day!“
