Rendon Labador to Mayors in the Philippines: “Tulungan ninyo ako baguhin ang Pilipinas”

Rendon Labador Has a Message to All Mayors in the Philippines

RENDON LABADOR – The social media personality has a message for all mayors in the Philippines, especially with the midterm elections approaching. In his Facebook post on Tuesday, June 25, Rendon urged mayors to conduct audits of their personnel in their respective municipalities.

Rendon urged all mayors across the Philippines to audit their personnel in their respective municipalities, warning against the influence of opportunistic individuals that could harm their constituents.

This is a reminder especially as elections approach, cautioning against the risk of reputational damage from placing the wrong people in positions. He stressed the importance of having compassionate individuals who prioritize people’s welfare rather than those who wait and rush for aid.

It can be recalled that Rendon sparked controversy after his group “Team Malakas,” as well as fellow social media personality Rosmar Tan, were declared persona non grata throughout the province of Palawan. The declaration was recommended by first district board member Juan Antonio Alvarez during the regular session of the Palawan Provincial Board on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

This action stems from an incident where the group disrespected a Local Government Unit (LGU) employee in Coron. During a charity event, Rendon and his team confronted, pointed at, and yelled at a female municipal employee, Jho Trinidad, who had posted a negative comment about them on her personal Facebook page.
