Actress Nadia Montenegro Cites Questions for Youngest Daughter’s Real Father
NADIA MONTENEGRO – The veteran actress spoke on the biological father of her youngest daughter, Sophia Asistio.
In the Philippine showbiz industry, Nadia one of the most popular actresses who are in the entertainment industry for decades already. She has portrayed countless roles in different films and television series. However, like other celebrities, she’s also facing rumors, speculations, and controversies.
One of the controversies that involve Nadia Montenegro is about the identity of the biological father of her youngest daughter, Sophia. The veteran actress has seven children with her late partner, former Caloocan Mayor Boy Asistio Jr.
There are rumors that actor Baron Geisler is the biological father of the youngest daughter of Nadia Montenegro. The rumors were even triggered when the actor admitted that he has a daughter with an actress.
Nadia remained mum on the issues. Recently, in an interview with Julius Babao for his vlog, the veteran actress spoke about the father of her youngest daughter, Sophia. She stressed that he must set her intention clear.
The veteran actress shared that her daughter and her father has met once but what happened next did not sit well with her. According to her, Sophia, as of now, does not want to build a relationship with her biological father.
“Isang beses pa lang sila nagkita tapos biglang inanounce na agad. So asan dun ang intensyon mo, magkaroon ng relationship o gusto mo ng views?” the actress said.
Nadia Montenegro also raised a question for the biological father of her youngest daughter. She stressed that Boy Asistio was the one who gave Sophia a name as well as loved her and raised her.
“Give me a reason why. Are you even worth it to be called a dad?” the veteran actress expressed.
During the vlog interview, Nadia expressed that some things in her life became a secret for 17 to 18 years, it was not hidden from her family. She stressed that her daughter knows it as well as Boy and she has asked forgiveness from God.
The veteran actress stressed that she does not owe anyone an explanation. According to her, the Almighty has forgiven her and she and Boy are okay in their relationship when he died. It was in 2017 when the former Caloocan Mayor passed away.
“Maayos ang mga anak ko, sa pagkakaintindi ko. Wala akong pinagsinungalingan sa pamilya ko,” she said.
