In the video, the young girl, known as Sasay, is seen overwhelmed with emotion as she celebrates her birthday for the first time with a cake and the traditional blowing of candles.
Veajeanne explained that her parents decided to adopt Sasay after her father passed away and her mother, who was their neighbor and had many children, struggled to make ends meet.
Sasay was unaware that the celebration was for her birthday. She was moved to tears when she realized it was her 8th birthday, and it was the first time she had ever had a birthday cake and experienced the joy of blowing out candles.
