Traffic Enforcer Francis Allit Caballero Is Now a Degree Holder

From Traffic Enforcer to Degree Holder

FRANCIS ALLIT CABALLERO – A traffic enforcer from Antipolo City has achieved his dream of obtaining a college degree, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology on April 30. His journey to this accomplishment was shared in a Facebook post by Antipolo City Mayor Jun Ynares, who commended Caballero’s dedication and perseverance.

Caballero, the seventh of nine siblings, grew up in a family that depended on farming and copra harvesting for income. From an early age, he worked hard to help his family, which shaped his strong work ethic. Despite the financial limitations that made attending high school challenging in his province, Caballero moved to Antipolo to pursue his dream of education.

In Manila, he held various jobs to support himself and contribute to his family’s income. He worked as a car wash boy and service crew member. On weekends, he helped his aunt sell barbecued food, and during December, he sold fruits on the sidewalk. He also cleaned houses, including those of some of his teachers, to earn extra money for school expenses and to send financial aid back to his family.

While studying, Francis Caballero worked as a traffic enforcer for the local government under the Office of Public Safety and Security (OPSS). He balanced his school responsibilities in the mornings with his street duties in the afternoons. His life was a continuous cycle of study and work, demonstrating his commitment and resilience.

Mayor Ynares’s post celebrated Caballero’s graduation and acknowledged his determination and hard work. The story of his life serves as an inspiring example that no dream is out of reach if pursued with determination and hard work. The mayor and the City Government of Antipolo, along with Caballero’s OPSS family, expressed their pride and congratulations, saluting his achievements.
