KAT ALANO – The model and television host has a message amid discussions on the case victory of ‘It’s Showtime’ host Vhong Navarro.
After Vhong Navarro’s significant legal win, Kat reactivated her social media presence. Last week, Deniece Cornejo and Cedric Lee were sentenced to life imprisonment for their actions against Vhong in 2014, which reignited public discussion around the case.
Following the verdict, Kat received support from her fans, some of whom criticized a certain individual’s claim of innocence, attributing it to their popularity. Kat acknowledged this support with responses on her social media.
This isn’t the first time Kat’s name has surfaced in relation to Vhong’s legal battles; she often becomes a topic of online discussion whenever there is a major update in his case. This partly stems from a past interview with DJ Mo, in which Kat claimed she was victimized by a celebrity in 2005, whom she cryptically referred to as “RhymesWithWrong.”
Kat has previously stated that she never pressed charges against the actor due to his influential connections, including an uncle who could get cases dismissed. She also mentioned facing threats of legal action aimed at silencing and discrediting her, making it clear why she felt justice was out of reach. Additionally, she disclosed that a close relative of a former president was connected to the actor, further illustrating the power dynamics at play.
Meanwhile, Kat Alano is a Filipino-British model, actress, television presenter, and VJ based in the Philippines. She began her career in the entertainment industry after moving to the Philippines in 2003. She started as a model and soon ventured into television. She gained popularity through her participation in the Miss Batangas competition, which she won in 2004. That same year, she also won the Studio 23 VJ Hunt, leading to her becoming one of the first official co-hosts of the variety show “Wowowee.”
