  • 2.25 lbs. chicken sliced into serving pieces
  • 1.5 cup young coconut meat
  • 6 cups young coconut water
  • 1.5 Knorr chicken cube
  • 1.5 bunch lemongrass
  • 1.5 cup hot pepper leaves
  • 1.5 bunch scallions cut into 3 inch length pieces
  • 1.5 medium yellow onion chopped
  • 1.5 large plum tomato cubed
  • 1.5 medium potato cubed
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4.5 thumbs ginger crushed
  • 2.25 teaspoons salt

The next part of the Chicken Binakol recipe is the cooking process which may take around an hour and five (5) minutes. Here are the steps on how to cook this delicious dish:

Put the chicken in a plate or bowl and rub some salt on each piece. Let it stay for around 15 minutes to let the chicken absorb the saltiness.

Put the chicken slices, ginger, tomato, onion, and the young coconut water in a cooking pot. Turn on the heat and allow it to boil.
