Anne Curtis, Joshua Garcia To Work Together in It’s Okay Not To Be Okay

Anne Curtis who is set to return to acting through the Philippine adaptation of a Korean drama series spoke about her upcoming pairing with Joshua Garcia.

Countless Filipinos miss seeing Anne doing acting projects. It’s been several years since the actress-TV host last did a television series. She is one of the stars not only under the ABS-CBN network but in the Philippine showbiz industry as a whole.

Anne Curtis did a lot of hit projects before. Among these projects are the May Bukas Pa (2000), Kampañerang Kuba (2005), Maging Sino Ka Man from (2006), Dyosa (2008), and Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw (2013). Undeniably, her role in Kampañerang Kuba is one of the characters that really marked the memory of countless Filipinos with her excellent portrayal of the role.

Recently, countless fans and supporters of Anne were filled with Joy following the announcement of her comeback in the acting field. Star Creatives, the official business arm of the ABS-CBN, announced that the actress will be one of the lead stars in the Pinoy-adaptation of the Korean drama TV series It’s Okay Not To Be Okay.

In the said upcoming Philippine version of the hit Koreanovela starred by Kim Soo Hyun (Moon Gae Tae) and Seo Ye Ji (Ko Moon Young), Anne Curtis will be working with Joshua Garcia who will play the lead male role. It is the first time of the two (2) celebrities to work together in a project.

Based on a report on Pep, at the press conference of their upcoming drama TV series, Anne Curtis revealed that one of the things that excite her about the upcoming project is working with Joshua Garcia. The actress-TV host is also ecstatic on on how they can bring out their chemistry. In real-life, Joshua is linked to Filipino-French athlete Emilienne Vigier.

“I’m so excited. It’s my first time working with Joshua so I’m very excited to see how we can bring out the chemistry together,” the actress-host said.

Joshua revealed that he and Anne will undergo a workshop to bring out their chemistry for the TV series. Anne admitted that she really loves the role and it was instant yes from her when the character was offered. Based on the article, she stressed that it is a “storytelling through fashion” which she also loves and she and the director are already talking on how to give the TV series a Filipino touch.

Anne is one of the fashionista and lover of stylish outfits in the Philippines. At the Taylor Swift concert, Anne wore a Michael Leyva design. Thus, she is really excited about the upcoming project.

The actress believes that her upcoming project with Joshua Garcia is “definitely worth it”. According to her, she will not accept a project that she does not feel is worth leaving her family for a little bit for the tapings.
