Teddy Corpuz Throwing Shade at Janus Del Prado?

Teddy Corpuz posts against bitterness

TEDDY CORPUZ – The “It’s Showtime” host appeared to be throwing shade at actor Janus Del Prado in his recent X post.

Janus’ recent post on social media stirred controversy among netizens because they suspected that the actor was hitting back at the “It’s Showtime” hosts after the official airing of the noontime show on GMA Network.

In his post, Janus spoke out against artists who, in the past, criticized celebrities for switching TV channels, labeling them as disloyal. He pointed out the irony of the situation and criticized those who made fun of celebrities for changing networks. “Yung mga bumabatikos sa mga lumipat dati, nagsilipatan na din ngayon lol. Kala ko ba hindi loyal ang mga lumilipat?” he wrote.

After Janus posted the cryptic message, It’s Showtime host Teddy Corpuz took to the microblogging site, X, formerly known as Twitter, wherein he seemed to be throwing shade at Janus. “Learn to forgive. Mas magaan sa pakiramdam, puso, at sa konsensiya. Focus ka lang sa kalagayan at diskarte mo at huwag ikumpara ang katayuan mo sa katayuan ng iba,” Teddy expressed. “Nakakapangit ng mukha at ugali ang pagiging bitter. Forgive par! Love! Love!” he added.

Netizens expressed admiration for Teddy Corpuz’s post, urging him to continue spreading positivity. They also supported his stance against bitterness and negativity, praising him as an idol for his wise words.

Meanwhile, Janus del Prado is an actor renowned for his contributions to Philippine cinema and television. He began his journey into showbiz at a tender age, initially undertaking minor roles. Despite being the son of veteran action star Renato del Prado and actress Amelia Robles, Janus’ mother insisted on training him and his siblings herself, shunning the use of his father’s influence in the industry.

Since his debut in 1990, Janus has showcased his versatility through various roles in both films and television series. Notable among his works are movies like “One More Chance,” “Catch Me, I’m in Love,” and “Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay,” and TV shows including “G-mik,” “Qpids,” and “The Story of Us.” Janus returned to GMA Channel 7 following the closure of ABS-CBN Channel 2 in 2020, marking his comeback after almost two decades.
