NOVA VILLA – The veteran actress has finally addressed long-standing rumors dating back a decade regarding her and the late ‘Da King’ Fernando Poe Jr.
For years, there have been circulating rumors suggesting that Nova had a child with FPJ. Nova, also known as the “Goddess of Philippine Comedy,” stated during an interview with Morly Alinio that she would never deny having a child with the King of Philippine Movies if it were true.
“Hindi po, walang ganu’n,” she clarified. “Hindi mo ide-deny, anak mo ‘yon, e. Wala namang nangyari. Ayoko na lang palakihin. Rest in peace na ‘yong tao.”
FPJ played a significant role in Nova’s journey to becoming an actress after recognizing her potential to shine. She appeared in several movies with FPJ and shared that her first salary as an actress was P1,000. One of Nova’s earliest films with FPJ was “Daniel Barrion” in 1964, alongside Paquito Diaz, Lou Salvador, and Larry Silva.
