Jessy Mendiola: “Gusto ko talaga ng maraming anak”
JESSY MENDIOLA – Here’s what the actress and celebrity mom said when she was asked if she’s ready for a second baby.
It can be recalled that Jessy Mendiola and her husband Luis Manzano announced last January 2023 that they welcomed their first child, Isabella Rose – also known as “Rosie” or “Peanut”.
At one point, she was asked in an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” if she’s ready for a second baby.
The actress was all smiles as she said “I think malapit na” because she really wants to have many children.
“Gusto ko talaga ng maraming anak Tito Boy, kung kaya ko lang talaga nang sabay-sabay,” she said in an interview with Boy Abunda. “Kapag nakikita niyang naglalakad na si Peanut, palagi niyang sinasabi, ‘You want to be an ate anak?’ Sasabihin niya sa akin, ‘Ano Love, puwede na ba?’ So parang ako, ‘Oo naman.’ Siyempre I mean, kung ibigay ni Lord bakit naman hindi?“
Jessy also revealed that she and Luis already have a name for their second baby.

According to the actress, she and her husband will name their next child “Ocean” regardless of the baby’s gender. She explained that she and her partner are beach lovers as they both love the sea.
In the “Fast Talk” segment of the show, the actress revealed that she wants to have five children.
Jessy and Luis first got married in an intimate civil ceremony last 2021. The married couple then tied the knot in an intimate church wedding in Palawan last February 2024.
In an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda”, she said that their second wedding was a fulfillment of a promise she and her husband made to each other. She also said that the occasion proved to be an opportunity to spend time with their families.
The actress added that it’s been a long time since her father was able to come home to the Philippines.
