RONNIE ALONTE – A comment made by a fan of the Kapamilya actor gained attention on social media due to its unusual nature.
Ronnie, whose real name is Ronaldo Alcantara Alonte II an actor, singer, and dancer. He gained recognition for his roles in notable films such as “Seklusyon” (2016), “Vince and Kath and James” (2016), and its sequel “James and Pat and Dave” (2020). Alonte was also a prominent member of the dance group Hashtags, showcased on the noontime variety show “It’s Showtime.”
His career began to blossom in 2015 when he debuted as part of Hashtags on “It’s Showtime.” Following this, he released his solo single titled “Love at Website,” which became an entry in the Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs competition in 2016.
Throughout his career, Alonte has showcased his acting prowess in various television dramas and films. Notably, he appeared in episodes of the drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya” and portrayed his own story in one episode. In 2016, he starred in two Metro Manila Film Festival entries: “Vince and Kath and James” and “Seklusyon.” Continuing his television endeavors, Alonte appeared in the melodrama series “A Love to Last” (2017) alongside Julia Barretto. He also took on notable roles in films like “Bloody Crayons” (2017) and “Fantastica” (2018).
During his live stream, Ronnie was engaging with his fans when a netizen named ‘Jenny’ made an odd request to the actor, asking him to spit on her face. “Ronnie duraan moko sa mukha,” the netizen commented.
Some netizens criticized Jenny for her request, noting its strangeness. This incident brings to mind a similar situation from last January when actor Christian Vasquez also received a peculiar message from a female fan, recalling intimate moments they supposedly shared. Unlike Christian, Ronnie chose not to respond to the fan’s request.
