The Facebook page DOTr MRT-3 reported that Mac Tolentino decided to take his relationship with Yen Flores to the next level by proposing to her right in front of the “Love Train” love booth at MRT Ayala Station in Makati City.
The unexpected proposal happened during the launch of the Department of Transportation’s (DOTr) “Love Train” program, designed to celebrate the month of love in February. The “Love Train” is part of various projects initiated by the DOTr and the MRT Line-3 to spread love and joy among passengers.
Mac Tolentino and Yen Flores were initially planning to take a photo at the MRT-3 photo booth. However, Tolentino’s heart was set on something more important. Inspired by the romantic atmosphere and the serenade from MRT-3 staff, he grabbed the opportunity and popped the question to his girlfriend.
Flores responded with a sweet “yes,” sealing their love with a warm embrace and a tender kiss.
