Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu, professionally known as Kim Chiu, is a versatile Filipino actress and recording artist born on April 19, 1990, in Cebu City, Philippines. Rising to fame after winning the inaugural teen edition of Pinoy Big Brother, she has since become one of the most influential figures in Philippine entertainment. Chiu’s career spans various genres in both film and television, showcasing her talent and versatility.
Dubbed as the “Multimedia Idol” by the media, Chiu started her career playing supporting roles in television shows before gaining prominence with her on-screen partnership with Gerald Anderson. Their collaboration led to successful projects such as “Sana Maulit Muli” and “Tayong Dalawa,” catapulting Chiu to stardom. Meanwhile, she is currently being linked to Paulo Avelino, her co-love team in the Kapamilya teleserye, “Linlang.” They are now gearing up for the Pinoy version of “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.” Kim Chiu’s last relationship was with actor Xian Lim, who is being linked to Iris Lee, a producer.
