Jaya Involved in a Car Accident
JAYA – The “Queen of Soul” was involved in an accident in Sacramento, California, while traveling to Graton Casino.
In her Instagram post last Monday, February 19, she shared the reason why she was heading to the said place. According to her, she was on the way to the said location to see her friends and watch the concert of Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.
A certain Dr. Josephine Weber was driving the vehicle they were boarding along with her aunt Merly Escolta when suddenly they got hit from the back. Jaya expressed gratitude for what she described as divine protection from the Lord which prevented their situation from becoming more serious.
She added: “Thank you Lord for making it another day. I am grateful for your mercy and grace. Praise your Holy name.” Currently, her doctor friend and her aunt are said to be in good condition. In her post, she reminded everyone to wear seatbelts at all times especially when one is a backseat passenger.
Regine was shocked by what happened to her friend: “Oh my goodness are you ok??” she exclaimed. To which she replied: “@reginevalcasid Love you Mare sorry di ako nakarating sa concert mo (emoji) and thank you Pare @ogiealcasid.”
