Enrique Gil on being in a long-distance relationship with Liza Soberano
ENRIQUE GIL – The actor recently opened up about his long-distance relationship (LDR) with actress Liza Soberano.
The actor is set to star in the upcoming movie titled “I Am Not Big Bird”, which will be showing in cinemas on February 14. Other cast members include Pepe Herrera, Red Ollero, and Nikko Natividad.
Liza starred in a movie titled “Lisa Frankenstein” where she played the role of “Taffy”, a popular-yet-kind girl who is also the stepsister of Lisa (played by Kathryn Newton). The movie was premiered in Philippine cinemas on February 7.
In an interview with PEP.ph, the actor said that being in a long-distance relationship with his girlfriend is hard for the two of them because they’re both busy. He also shared that they achieved a lot on their own collectively and he’s super happy about it.
“It’s hard, it’s super hard. Sabi ko nga sa kanya, parang wala ka nang time sometimes to answer. Sabi niya, wala rin siyang time sa sarili niya,” he said. “Super busy kaming dalawa, but I think it’s good. Marami kaming naa-achieve on our own collectively, so super happy.”
PEP reported that Enrique was asked in an interview after the media conference for the upcoming movie “I Am Not Big Bird” if he and Liza are still together, and he responded with thumbs-up with matching smile.
When asked when will he and his partner meet again, the actor said he’s hoping that they will meet each other when she returns to the Philippines on February 13 because she has an endorsement shoot. He added that she might even go to the premiere night of his film.
