YASMIEN KURDI – The actress revealed that her husband Rey Soldevilla Jr asked her to marry him while they’re jobless before.
The actress said this after a netizen commented on her post about giving respect and value to oneself and to other people, saying that asking someone to marry the person who is not financially ready is a “No!”
“Inalok ako ng asawa ko ng kasal habang jobless kami noon at may tinutulungan din siya na kapatid. May condo kami pero natutulog lang kami sa sahig pero tinanggap ko. At ngayon okay naman kami. Basta importante mabait, masipag at loyal ang tao,” Yasmien Kurdi said, adding that God should always be at the center of the family.

YASMIEN KURDI – The actress recently took to social media to talk about giving respect and value to people and to oneself.
The actress previously starred in the Kapuso series titled “The Missing Husband”. She’s currently taking up “Pastry and Bakery Arts Program” in a bakery class while she’s pregnant with her second child.
Yasmien gave her opinion about the P299 engagement ring issue on Tuesday. According to the actress, investing in a house and lot is better.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the actress said that setting a high standard or valuing themselves means that they’re respected, not abused, and people love them. But she also said that people should also respect themselves first because how will people respect and value them if they make themselves rude.
“Ang pag set ng high standard or i value sarili mo ay yung nirerespeto/ ginagalang ka, di ka inaabuso, minamahal at sinusuportahan ka. Pero dapat ikaw din mismo muna ang gumalang sa sarili mo, kasi kung gagawin mong kabastos bastos ang sarili mo, edi paano ka pa rerespetuhin at i-value ng tao?” she said in her Facebook post.
When it comes to money, Yasmien said that a couple shouldn’t count their money when they’re married as one’s money is also one’s partner’s money.
According to the actress, she and her husband Rey Soldevilla Jr are 18 years together and 12 years married.
Meanwhile, Yasmien shared in a social media post that she’s excited for the cake lessons as she will turn 35 on January 25, 2024. She said that she will make her own cake once she knows how to make a cake.
