The Vietnamese girl linked to Daniel Padilla has spoken
MIN PHUONG – The Vietnamese non-showbiz girl allegedly involved in the controversial breakup of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo has issued a statement.
In her Instagram post on Monday, January 15, 2024, a Vietnamese girl named Min Phuong or Emma came forward to vehemently deny accusations of having a relationship with Daniel. Emma shared that her life was quiet until the past year when she started receiving messages from Daniel Padilla’s fans and supporters.
Emma suspected that she was dragged into the controversial breakup between Daniel and Kathryn after personally meeting the Kapamilya actor during his vacation in Vietnam with friends. Emma narrated that their first encounter occurred when Daniel visited her brother’s bar in Vietnam last year.
In her Instagram caption, Emma included screenshots of messages from KathNiel fans. She clarified that she only exchanged a few words with Daniel at her brother’s bar and denied any connection with an Instagram user named ‘Johnnymoonlightz,’ suspected to be Daniel’s dump account.
Emma pleaded with the public to stop bashing her, especially since there is no strong evidence linking her to the breakdown of Daniel and Kathryn’s relationship. She emphasized that she is a common Vietnamese citizen living a normal life and requested that people approach her social media with dignity and respect.
Meanwhile, it was on January 12 when Kathryn’s older sister posted a cryptic message on Instagram and Facebook, hinting at certain years and suggesting possible infidelity by Daniel. In this intriguing post, Kaye included a photo of a mask with the words ‘WE KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER’ and a caption containing years like ‘(2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2023) – [claps, trophy, and masks emojis] and the very first one that I know (2014) [eyes emoji].’
Some netizens speculated that the mentioned years in Kaye’s caption might be a list of years when Daniel betrayed Kathryn. Emma’s identity and the name of another friend of Daniel and Kathryn, Aeriel Garcia, also surfaced in connection to these events.
