Mercury Drug is trending on X due to this reason
GILBERT REMULLA – The former congressman was heavily criticized after calling out Mercury Drug, one of the leading drugstores in the country.
On Twitter, Remulla noted, “It’s about time Mercury Drug gets some serious competition. I hope a businessman, entrepreneur or conglomerate can put something together. Their waiting time and service is so bad.”
His post elicited mixed reactions from netizens. Apparently, some did not like his remark against the drugstore. “i hope you come to understand lining at mercury drug is a better and faster experience than lining up at any government office. this is simply the standard of the society,” a netizen commented.
Another netizen wrote, “Sobrang priviledged naman ni Koya. Pumila lang saglit. Hindi naman palaging mahaba pila sa Mercury Drug.” However, some agreed with Remulla’s sentiment. A netizen observed that services could potentially improve if more pharmacists anticipate better living wages from corporations like the said drugstore chain.
As of press time, the drugstore is leading on the microblogging site X (formerly known as Twitter) as one of the trending topics. Unfortunately, the drugstore has yet to issue any statement regarding the rant posted by the former congressman.
