KD Estrada: “I cannot allow this “fandom” who claims to “support” me to bash the family and people I love”
KD ESTRADA – The actor defended his current on-screen partner Alexa Ilacad as he wrote an open letter to the former fandom he was associated in.
In a post on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account, KD said that he doesn’t want to be associated with his former ship or fandom as fans of his former love team partner went overboard with their bashing of his current love team partner.
According to him, he has kept those feelings in for two years but some of the former fandom have already crossed the line.
KD also pointed out that he can take the criticism toward him, but he can’t take the hate that was pinned against Alexa and other people he cares about.
“Your team constantly bashes Alexa, whom I genuinely care about, which some of you can’t seem to wrap your head around. I have let your hate and criticism towards me slide, and I take that,” he said. “But I cannot allow this “fandom” who claims to “support” me to bash the family and people I love.”
The actor then emphasized that he doesn’t owe anyone his growth, adding that he’s giving permission to the former fandom he was associated in to spread his open letter for them to understand.
Although he’s not directly dropping the name of the fandom he’s referring to in his post, KD is believed to be referring to the fandom of his and his former loveteam partner Anji Salvacion, collectively known as “KyJi”.
