Jayda Avanzado Mistaken as Daughter of Dingdong Dantes
JAYDA AVANZADO – The Kapamilya singer-actress humorously responded to a netizen who mistakenly thought she was the daughter of Kapuso TV host-actor Dingdong Dantes.
On Friday, January 19, 2024, a netizen left a comment on one of Jayda’s TikTok videos, praising the beauty of the young lady and mentioning her resemblance to Dingdong Dantes, the husband of Marian Rivera. “ganda kamukha mo dad mo si dingdong dantes,” the netizen commented.
Jayda couldn’t help but address this comment in a separate video, where she explained that she has no connection to the Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes. However, she also mentioned that she wouldn’t blame people for mistaking her as Dingdong Dantes’ daughter because her real father is Dingdong Avanzado, who shares the same first name.
In the video, Jayda clarified, “Maraming salamat po, pero disclaimer lang, hindi po ako anak ni Dingdong Dantes, ibang Dingdong ang tatay ko. Ito po yung tatay ko, si Dingdong Avanzado. Si Jayda Avanzado po ako.”
Nevertheless, Jayda expressed gratitude for the netizen’s compliment. She also greeted Dingdong Dantes in the video, acknowledging that she is one of his fans. “Shout out kay Dingdong Dantes kasi naging fan niya ako after ko mapanood yung Rewind, napakahusay na artista talaga,” Jayda said.

Jayda Avanzado, born Janelle Amanda Loyola Avanzado on June 1, 2003, is a Filipino actress and singer. She is the daughter of Filipino OPM singers Dingdong Avanzado and Jessa Zaragoza. Jayda entered the entertainment industry in 2017 and has since made a name for herself as a versatile performer.
Jayda signed with Cornerstone Entertainment in December 2017, marking the beginning of her professional career. In June 2018, she released her debut EP titled ‘In My Room’ and became a member of the teen pop group ASAP G!, appearing alongside other young talents in the industry.
