Why did David Licauco answer “Maria Ozawa” on Family Feud?
DAVID LICAUCO – The Kapuso actor explained his “Maria Ozawa” response on Family Feud.
David Alexander Sy Licauco is an actor and model who gained recognition for his roles in various television dramas, including “Mulawin vs. Ravena” (2017), where he portrayed the character Malik, and “Maria Clara at Ibarra” (2022–2023), where he starred as Fidel de los Reyes.
Beyond his acting career, David is also a model, brand ambassador, and entrepreneur. He began his journey into the entertainment industry in 2014, starting as a model after winning 1st runner-up in Mr. and Ms. Chinatown. Despite not initially envisioning a career in showbiz, his talent and presence led him to roles in both television and film.
David Licauco comes from a family with Chinese Filipino ancestry and is the second eldest among his siblings. His family background includes a lineage connected to Jaime Licauco, an internationally known parapsychologist, author, lecturer, and consultant.

The Kapuso actor is currently making rounds online due to his answer in an episode of Family Feud, a game show in which two families or teams compete to name the most popular answers to survey questions to win cash and prizes.
During the game, David Licauco was asked to fill in the blank. “Maria (blank).” He quickly replied with “Ozawa.” The latter is famous for being an adult film star.

In a comment, a netizen noted: “Di man lang naisip yung Maria Clara.” David Licauco explained that it was already given. “Nasabi na kasi,” he remarked.
