After being involved in a car accident in South Korea, Tippy Dos Santos’s mom is in critical condition
TIPPY DOS SANTOS – The parents of the “Dati” singer were involved in a vehicular accident in Seoul, South Korea, on Wednesday, December 27.
In her Instagram post, the singer and actress shared the incident involving her father, John Dos Santos, who is currently recovering from injuries sustained in the accident, while her mother, Happy Esquivas Dos Santos, is in critical condition and placed in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a hospital in South Korea.
In a screenshot post from her mother’s Facebook account, she requested prayers for her mother’s healing and recovery. “PRAYERS FOR HAPPY ESQUIVIAS-DOS SANTOS. On Wednesday, 27 December, upon their arrival in Seoul for a short holiday, HAPPY and JOHN figured in a horrific vehicular accident,” Tippy wrote. “While John is currently recovering from his injuries, HAPPY is now in a coma and fighting for her life. She is at the ICU of a Korean hospital.”
Tippy Dos Santos also called on friends and relatives for fervent prayers for her mother’s recovery. “We are calling on everyone to please offer prayers that the Lord will grant HAPPY healing and recovery. We believe in the powers of collective prayers and look forward to all our friends and loved ones joining us in this petition,” Tippy added before quoting some Bible verses about prayer and healing.
Several celebrity friends of the singer expressed their prayers and support for her mother and the family. Angeline Quinto commented, “Praying for Tita Happy (emojis) and your family @tippydossantos8 (emojis).” Kayla Rivera shared, “Thinking of all of you and praying hard for Tita and Tito (emoji). Love you Tips, and sending big hugs ♥️.” Nikki Gil added, “Praying for Tita Happy’s healing! (emoji) Complete recovery in Jesus’ name!”
Other artists, including TJ Monterde, Dominic Roque, Sue Ramirez, Cai Cortez, Ynna Asistio, Ivan Dorschner, Dianne Medina, and Sitti Navarro, also expressed their prayers and sympathy. Earlier on Christmas, December 25, Tippy Dos Santos shared happy family reunion pictures.
