Official Statement of Rob Gomez on Alleged Private Conversations with Other Women
ROB GOMEZ – The Kapuso actor has issued an official statement to address the unauthorized post made by his estranged girlfriend, Shaila Rebortera, on his Instagram account.
Rob revealed that Shaila took and used his cellphone without permission, allegedly pretending to be him. The content of these unauthorized posts includes screenshots of private conversations between the actor and his co-stars Herlene Budol and Bianca Manalo, who appeared with Rob in “Magandang Dilag,” the GMA-7 afternoon prime series that concluded on November 10, 2023.
The unauthorized postings created significant controversy as they implicated Herlene and Bianca in the issue. To address the issue, Rob Gomez sent a statement to PEP.ph.
“Please be advised that my phone was taken and used it without my consent on December 20, 2023 from 12:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Worse is that the person who took my phone posted pictures of mine in my own social media account pretending that I posted it with the intention of destroying my reputation. The videos as shown were among my friends and co-stars who was trying to cheer me up when I was going through a lot of hurdles in my life,” he noted.
Meanwhile, the conflict between Rob and Shaila escalated when the actor stated during his guesting on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on August 3, 2023, that he is single. Shaila reportedly did not appreciate Rob’s statement on national television as they were living together at the time and already had a child.
Apart from Herlene Budol and Bianca Manalo, former Star Magic artist Pearl Gonzales was also dragged into the issue. She even deactivated her Instagram account following the spread of her alleged conversation with Rob.
