Paul Salas on showbiz breakups
PAUL SALAS – The actor said that he and his girlfriend Mikee Quintos were alarmed by a series of showbiz breakups, including the breakup of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
According to the actor, he and his girlfriend felt the fear as they were alarmed by a series of breakups of celebrity couples but they both agreed to let God be the center of their relationship.
He said this when he was interviewed by PEP.ph after the contract signing on Monday, December 11, 2023. The actor became the first-ever celebrity ambassador of Beautywise.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Paul said that he and Mikee got alarmed about it but they don’t really know what happens off-cam.
“We get alarmed honestly, pero siyempre hindi naman sa para pakialaman namin kung anuman yung nangyari. Hindi naman talaga natin alam ang mga nangyayari off-cam,” the actor said. “Ako naman, sabi ko kay Mikee, ‘Basta siguro gawin nating center talaga ng relationship natin si God. Pag-usapan natin kung anuman yung problema’.”
Aside from this, he also looked back to the time when he experienced a painful breakup with his former partner. However, he didn’t mention the name of his ex-partner he’s referring to.
Paul also admitted that his parents’ separation when he was 14 years old had a big impact on him. According to the actor, Mikee helped him a lot since they became a couple.
The actor also said that she is not only his girlfriend but also his bestfriend and all, adding that he was able to tell Mikee what was difficult to tell to his family because of what happened.
What he also loves about his girlfriend, according to him, is that she understands each other’s imperfections.
