DOST SCHOLARSHIP PRIORITY COURSES – Here are the courses that are prioritized by the Department of Science and Technology under its scholarship offers.
Are you one of the students who are aspiring to be a scholar of the Department of Science and Technology? More popularly called DOST, it is one of the government offices with multiple scholarship offers for those who will be entering college. You might be a parent who is looking for one as assistance in supporting the studies of your child.
DOST offers several undergraduate scholarships including the S&T undergraduate scholarships and the junior level Science scholarships. It has the MERIT scholarships which are awarded to students with high aptitude in Science and Mathematics and want to pursue careers in the fields of science and technology.
There is also the Republic Act No. 7687 or the Science and Technology Scholarship Act of 1994 which are granted to poor but deserving students who want to pursue careers in basic sciences, other applied sciences, engineering, and science and mathematics teaching. It has DOST Scholarship cash allowance for the scholars.

For the DOST scholarship offers for 2024, the online application period started last October 17, 2023. The last day of the request for school inclusion in the E-Application System is on December 15, 2023 while the last day of the application and the uploading of requirements is on December 31, 2023. The qualifying exam is set on April 6 to 7, 2024.
