In the Philippines, there are several foundations and government offices that provide scholarships for the poor but deserving students. One of them is the Department of Science and Technology.
More popularly called DOST, the Department of Science and Technology has scholarship offers for students in undergraduate studies. It has the S&T undergraduate scholarships as well as the scholarship offers under the Republic Act 7687 or the Science and Technology Scholarship Act of 1994 and the Republic Act 10612.
Under the scholarship offers of the Department of Science and Technology, the DOST scholarship cash allowance and benefits depend on the type of scholarship. Under the S&T undergraduate scholarships category, here are the allowances and benefits:
