ANNABELLE RAMA – The talent manager expressed her gratitude to showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin for defending her.
Rama has been making waves online in the past few days after subtly hinting at the separation of her son Richard and his wife Sarah Lahbati. Due to her claims, she faced heavy criticism on social media.
Cristy Fermin came to Annabelle’s defense. According to Annabelle, she chose to remain silent on the issue, and when she woke up, she received messages from friends about the positive things Cristy said in her defense. The two used to be adversaries.
“Pag gising ko kaninang umaga maraming text ako natanggap at mga missed calls from my friends na tunay na nakaka kilala at nag mamahal sa akin. At sabi nila ay may maganda daw silang nabasa sa facebook na sinulat ng number one kong kalaban at pinagtatanggol ako this time. Di ako naniwala at baka kako fake news na naman at ginamit lang ang pangalan niya,” she said.
Annabelle also reflected on their past feud, which arose from her defense of her daughter Ruffa and led to legal actions. “Siguro mga 25years ago, nag katapat na kami nyan, dahil naman sa pag tatanggol ko kay Ruffa. Grabe away namin noon, nag ka demandahan pa kami hanggang sa supreme court. After that incident, iniwasan ko na sya dahil ayaw ko na sya makita,” she recalled.
She shared that she didn’t bother responding when Cristy texted her about the news she reported regarding Manny and Jinky Pacquiao. Annabelle admitted that her heart softened toward her former adversary. “This time lumambot ang puso ko sa kanya, dahil nanay rin siya at may mga anak rin at alam nya na tama ang ginagawa ko sa pag kampi ko sa anak ko, kaya nya ako naintindihan,” she said.
