Rumors that Alden Richards is courting Kathryn Bernardo are not true
ALDEN RICHARDS and KATHRYN BERNARDO – The circulating rumors that the “Asia’s Multimedia Star” and “Kapuso star” is courting the Kapamilya star are not true.
Alden Richards, whose real name is Richard Reyes Faulkerson Jr., is a Filipino actor, TV host, and recording artist. He gained widespread popularity for his role in the Philippine television drama series “Destiny Rose” and is also known for being part of the popular love team “AlDub” with Maine Mendoza.
Kathryn Bernardo, on the other hand, is a Filipino actress, model, and recording artist. She rose to prominence for her role as Mara in the television series “Mara Clara.” Kathryn is part of the popular love team “KathNiel” with actor Daniel Padilla. Together, they have starred in various television shows and movies, contributing to the success of the Philippine entertainment industry.
It was just recently when Kathryn and Daniel broke up after being together for 11 years. After confirming their separation, some netizens started shipping Kathryn with Alden.
In the latest episode of “Cristy Ferminute” on Tuesday, December 12, showbiz columnist Cristy explicitly stated that the news about Alden courting Kathryn is fake. “Napakamarespeto ni Alden Richards para makihalo o makisawsaw at maki-join diyan,” said Cristy.
“Hindi po ganoong klaseng tao si Alden Richards. May sarili po siyang karera. Hindi po niya kailangang makisukob doon sa hiwalayan ng KathNiel,” she added. In fact, Alden avoids making statements about the breakup between Daniel and Kathryn. The showbiz columnist further stated, “Alden Richards po siya kahit wala po ang kahit sino bagama’t hindi niya ipinagmamalaki. Hindi po natin siya mahuhuli na nakikisuyo diyan sa mga ganyan.”
It is worth noting that “KathDen” worked together in 2019 in the film “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” considered the highest-grossing movie in the history of Philippine cinema, earning ₱880.6M at the box office.
