YASSI PRESSMAN – Here’s what the “Black Rider” actress said when she was asked if she was worried about her potential bashers.
At a recent press conference, the actress told Inquirer that network wars are a thing of the past and this is a good opportunity for all creative and actors to work with each other.
Yassi Pressman added that at the end of the day, she’s thankful to have another job and another blessing. According to her, she has been on a break for so long and so it’s time for her to work again.

YASSI PRESSMAN – The actress admitted that she feels the pressure and she’s also nervous about the potential primetime clash with Coco Martin.
To recall, the actress previously starred in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”. She currently stars in the Kapuso action-drama series “Black Rider” alongside Ruru Madrid, Kylie Padilla, Matteo Guidicelli, Gladys Reyes, Zoren Legaspi, Katrina Halili, and many more.
Yassi plays the role of “Bane”, a petty thief whose life gets intertwined with “Elias” (Ruru Madrid).
As the premiere of “Black Rider” nears, the actress admittedly told Inquirer at a recent conference that she feels the pressure, especially since the show will be going up against “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.”
However, she said that they just need to do their best and to also put their hearts into the show. According to her, she can only hope that viewers end up loving the characters in the show and enjoying the story.
“Of course, there’s big pressure. Sobrang kinakabahan,” the actress told Inquirer at a recent press conference. “But we just need to do our best and put our hearts into the show. I can only hope that people end up loving the characters and enjoying the story.”
Yassi shared that she doesn’t see the potential head-to-head as a competition but she sees it as fuel to improve and perform. She also said that it’s a challenge for the staff and cast of the show to improve every day, to improve the story, and to do better.
According to the actress, when the show was offered to her by GMA Public Affairs, all she knew was that it was going to be slated for primetime. However, she said that she went out of her way to seek the blessing of ABS-CBN executives when she found out that “Black Rider” was going to be put in the same timeslot as “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo”.
Yassi also sent her regards to Coco Martin, saying that she will always remain grateful to him. She added that she’s grateful that she got to work with people she wants to work with.
