Yasser Marta opened up about his breakup with Kate Valdez
YASSER MARTA – After confirming his breakup with actress Kate Valdez, the actor said that he doesn’t blame anyone for their breakup but himself.
He said this when he was interviewed by talk show host Boy Abunda on Tuesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda”.
Yasser currently stars in Kapuso primetime series “Lovers/Liars” with Claudine Barretto, Polo Ravales, Shaira Diaz, Rob Gomez, and more. Kate, meanwhile, will star in the upcoming adaptation of hit K-drama “Shining Inheritance” with Paul Salas, Kyline Alcantara, and Michael Sager.
According to the actor, his lack of time for their relationship is a huge reason for their breakup. He also shared that he has to take care of his mother aside from working on “Eat Bulaga” and “Lovers/Liars”.
“Wala akong sinisisi kundi sarili ko,” Yasser said in an interview. “Malaking factor din kasi na na-stroke si mama eh. Noong na-stroke siya, ‘yung buong oras ko, kung hindi sa work, sa nanay ko.”
He even admitted that he and the actress didn’t keep communications after their separation.
It can be recalled that Yasser Marta said in an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” aired last June that he has been courting Kate Valdez and they are enjoying each other’s companionship.
At that time, the actor said that they don’t want to rush it because it’s better for them if they build a foundation in their relationship at that time.
But in a report on PEP.ph, he admitted that he and Kate broke up and it’s been three months since they separated. He even said “Wala naman” when he was asked if their career in the showbiz industry had anything to do with their breakup.
