Sam Milby talks about upcoming wedding with Catriona Gray
SAM MILBY – The actor recently revealed that his fiancée, beauty queen Catriona Gray, is “more of a planner” than him.
He said this when he was interviewed by ABS-CBN News on the sidelines of the 25th anniversary celebration of fashion designer Francis Libiran last November 27, 2023.
The “Replacing Chef Chico” actor also confirmed that their wedding is scheduled for “next year” and they’re looking forward to an “intimate” wedding ceremony.
According to the actor, he’s very excited about their wedding and they have a team that helps them prepare for their “intimate” wedding ceremony. He also said that he and his fiancée are getting things ready for it.
Sam went on to reveal that he’s hands-on in the wedding planning but not as much as Catriona, saying that his fiancée is “much more of a planner” than he is. He also said that he’s proud of his future wife.
“She’s much more of a planner than I am,” the actor said, referring to his fiancée. “I was watching; I was like, I’m sorry. I think pwede na siyang main host na. Her energy and how she can think of it, ang bilis ng pag-iisip niya. She’s amazing. She has a natural talent for hosting.”
The actor was also asked if he and his fiancée would dive into building a family and having children after their wedding in 2024. In response, he said that he’s ready to build a family but they have to have the chance to enjoy their marriage first.
It can be recalled that Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray said in an interview with Metro.Style last September that she didn’t realize wedding planning was “such an intricate process” as “there’s so much detail”.
At that time, the beauty queen said she’s just wanting to get all the logistics stuff out of the way so she can focus on the creative part of the plan.
Meanwhile, the celebrity couple will be away from one another this Christmas, as Catriona will be going back to Australia to be with her parents, while Sam will be staying in the country to be with his sister.
