Catriona Gray: “I didn’t realize that wedding planning was such an intricate process”
CATRIONA GRAY – The Miss Universe 2018 titleholder recently opened up about her wedding plans with her fiancé, actor Sam Milby.
This, after the beauty queen and her fiancé went public with their engagement after Valentine’s Day this year.
Catriona said in an exclusive interview with Metro.Style that she didn’t realize wedding planning was “such an intricate process” as “there’s so much detail” and she’s just wanting to get all the logistics stuff out of the way so that she can focus on the creative part of the plan.
According to her, she has very little experience when it comes to attending weddings and she’s thankful that her fiancé has enough experience as a wedding guest.
“We’re really collaborating on anything, which I think is great. I also want to feel his voice in the wedding,” she told Metro.Style in an interview. “Because his motto is really like ‘I just want you to be happy. It’s your day.’ I’m like, ‘I know, but I want your vision in here too.’”
The beauty queen also shares that she already has more travel plans in mind with him which doesn’t involve work.
To recall, the engaged couple traveled to Japan last April and went to Hawaii last July. It was last 2020 when the Miss Universe 2018 titleholder spent the holidays in Ohio where her fiancé was born and raised.
Catriona also told Metro.Style that she had been to her fiancé’s hometown where he grew up and also had seen the school that he grew up in, adding that she had been to his childhood house.
She also said that she would love to bring her fiancé to where she grew up in Cairns, Australia, and to also show him her childhood house and her school as well.
It can be recalled that Catriona said in an interview with Vicki Belo last May that she and Sam will get married “next year” as they’re enjoying their engagement with one another. However, she didn’t reveal the exact date of their wedding day during the interview at that time.
