Ogie Diaz: “‘Yung mga kumakalat at bali-balita… Hindi naman sa akin unang nagsimula ‘yan”
OGIE DIAZ – The talent manager-vlogger clarified that he did not initiate the rumors about a breakup between Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, as well as the speculations linking Daniel to Andrea Brillantes.
In his latest “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update” vlog, he emphasized that he only mentioned speculations he heard and consistently emphasized that these claims were “not confirmed.”
Co-host Mama Loi Villarama added that only the parties involved can confirm or deny the speculations. Diaz expressed his belief that Daniel and Kathryn will still end up together. He acknowledged that couples sometimes have misunderstandings and might need time apart.
In previous vlogs, Diaz discussed rumors of the couple’s breakup and alleged secret meetings between Daniel and Andrea, drawing criticism from Bernardo and Padilla’s fans for citing unconfirmed information. While the three parties involved have not publicly commented on the matter, Daniel appeared to dismiss the breakup rumors by praising Kathryn in her recent fashion magazine cover.
Meanwhile, Ogie Diaz was heavily criticized on social media and even accused of being a fake news peddler. In fact, his name trended on the microblogging site X, formerly known as Twitter, as he was labeled a fake news peddler.
