A TikTok user may face charges for uploading a video of a child without mom’s consent
ICE CREAM – A mother took to social media to ask for help in locating the whereabouts of the TikTok user who posted a video featuring her 4-year-old son.
In the viral video, a netizen recorded footage at a playground. When his son approached him, he allowed the child to taste the ice cream. The 4-year-old then approached the uploader, hoping to have at least a bite.
However, the netizen responded, “UY! DI NAMAN KITA ANAK! GUSTO MO RIN?? PABILI KA SA MAMA MO!” According to the mother of the 4-year-old, the uploader did not have consent to post the video in which her child was bullied. As of press time, the video has garnered more than 8 million views and mixed reactions from netizens.
One netizen commented, “NGAYON KA MAGTAPANG NICO.” Another netizen agreed that not giving ice cream to the child was better. “Mas mabuti nga na di nya binigyan ng ice cream or kahit anong foods yung bata kasi what if allergic may ingredient dyan sa food na allergic ung bata+,” the netizen noted.
Another netizen related to the child’s experience, saying: “Ah, hits like my childhood trauma. Gusto mo din? Pabili ka sa mama mo, my tita said that knowing damn well my mom has no money as of the moment then.”
