Matteo Guidicelli: “I think, for now, the first six months when we got married, that was challenging”
MATTEO GUIDICELLI – The “Black Rider” actor spoke about the first six months of being together with his wife Sarah Geronimo.
It can be recalled that Matteo and Sarah tied the knot last February 2020 and their wedding was filled with controversy after Sarah’s mother reportedly arrived unexpectedly and was enraged at the event at that time.
The actor appeared on Thursday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where he talked about his relationship with his wife.
Matteo was asked in an interview with talk show host Boy Abunda about the most difficult problem he and his wife had so far during their three-year marriage.
In response, the “Penduko” actor described the first six months after getting married to his wife as “challenging” because it was their first time living in one space together. He also said that there’s a lot of adjusting, learning, and listening during the first six months.
“After [those] six months, I think that made us stronger, made us better listeners, made me a better husband, made her a better wife, and made both individuals [better] also,” Matteo said.
The actor agreed that the journey helped him and his wife become better and kinder, saying that it’s very important to spread love and be kinder to each other at the end of the day. According to him, marriage is “the best thing in life”.
Three years after getting married, Matteo said that spending the rest of his life with his wife is his ultimate goal and he’s “reading ready” to become a father.
“I guess for 2024 or in the future, sana mag-baby na kami. Sana, in God’s time,” Matteo Guidicelli said in a media interview at the office of Viva Entertainment in Pasig City.
