KC CONCEPCION – Here’s what the actress said when she was asked if women should pay the bill on the first date.
The actress released a vlog titled “ASK ME ANYTHING! (Q&A)” on her YouTube channel where she responded to a variety of questions from her fans. According to her, she decided to answer the questions she received on Instagram.
Among the questions she answered were about her plans in music, hosting, her favorite place, jewelry piece, her tips to women in their 20s and 30s, budding entrepreneurs, and her take on the hot debate. At one point, she was asked “YES OR NO, Should ladies pay on the first date?”
In response, she answered “No way! Not for me!” and said that she appreciates it when the man shoulders the bill on their first date.
“I really appreciate it every time the man, you know, shoulders the bill. And ladies, it’s up to us also to offer to pay as well. I think men really appreciate that,” she said. “But I think on the first date, I love it when the man takes care of the bill talaga. Pero kung hindi ganun yung nangyari, it doesn’t mean na hindi okay.”
According to the actress, “KKB (kanya-kanyang bayad)” or splitting the bill is okay at times but a woman shouldn’t take care of the bill on their first date unless she asks him out and if she likes him that much.
KC also shared her advice to women in their 30s, saying that women should have more money than they did in their 20s and should be more conscious of taking care of themselves. She’s also hoping that women already have a job at that age because having a job is important.
The actress already has more than 500,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel as of this writing. On Instagram, she expressed her gratitude to those who have subscribed to her channel and also watched her vlogs.
