Kakai Bautista shared the reason why she preferred dating abroad.
KAKAI BAUTISTA – The actress-singer recently shared that she preferred to date outside the Philippines.
She said this when she was interviewed at the star-studded birthday celebration of Beautederm CEO Rei Anicoche Tan at Luxent Hotel in Timog Avenue, Quezon City last November 25, 2023.
According to a report on PEP.ph, the Dental Diva said that she doesn’t have a boyfriend but “may mga dine-date ako”.
She went on to share that she preferred to go on a date abroad because she’s too traumatized by the people to even go on a date in the Philippines.
“Masyado akong na-trauma sa mga tao dito para makipag-date pa ako dito! Ha! Ha! Ha!” the comedienne said. “Saka na lang muna yung date dito pag ano, pag talagang official na.”
But when she was asked when she will have time to go abroad to go on a date, she said her rule is that whoever wants to see her again should go to the Philippines.
When it comes to men she likes, Kakai said that she likes European because they understand what she thinks.
According to a report on PEP.ph, Kakai allegedly described the mind of Filipino non-showbiz guys as “may saltik” because they were surprised when they said “I never thought that you were that smart” and she responded “Sana, ikaw din” to them.
Describing how she is in real life, the actress-singer said that she has sense to talk to.
The Dental Diva also shared that maybe people are surprised because what they see in personal is different from what they see on TV, adding that they even thought she’s just a comedienne.
