After revealing a crush on Stell of SB19, Kakai Bautista was heavily criticized
KAKAI BAUTISTA – The singer-comedienne was traumatized by the backlash she received after revealing that she has a crush on Stell of SB19.
It was during her guest appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” that Kakai revealed her crush on Stell, one of the members of the P-pop group SB19. She also discussed Stell during the recent TikTalks media conference.
However, her confession was met with online criticism. Due to the continuous criticism she has been facing ever since she openly admitted to having a crush on Stell of SB19, the comedienne has decided to temporarily tone down her social media posts regarding her admiration for Stell.
Kakai admitted that she also feels traumatized by the bashing. She mentioned that sometimes she can’t figure out whose opinions to listen to—those who can relate to her fangirl feelings or those who are negative towards her.
“Masyado lang akong nato-traumatize…well, ‘yung ibang fans na supportive rin sa pagiging fangirl ko, naghahanap din na, ‘Ate, bakit hindi ka na nagpo-post?’ Minsan kasi, overthinking din sila na baka ganito. Pero, nag-aano lang kasi ako, nagme-menor lang ako nang konti na ‘Ah, sumosobra na.’ So, minsan, hindi mo na rin alam kung saan ka lulugar. Kung magkaka-fangirl ka pa ba o hindi,” she said.
Meanwhile, Kakai. whose real name is Catherine Herrera Bautista, is an actress, host, singer, and comedienne. She first started out as a theater actress. She was discovered by Ricky Rivero in 2003 after her explosive appearance in the play, Alikabok.
