Dimples Romana: “And that is the reason why I sort of stopped dreaming about being one.”
DIMPLES ROMANA – The actress recently shared the reason why she stopped dreaming of becoming a doctor.
The actress’s first ambition was to become a doctor, but her personal trauma forced her to stop pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor as a career.
During the launch of her very own skincare product called Dreamcakes, the actress told Inquirer Entertainment that she had a sister who died of leukemia and she got very bad trauma from going to hospital all the time.
Dimples also shared that her dream of becoming an actress grew inside of her more than it being there right away.
The actress then said that she worked hard as one because it is the only thing she knows and when the grows up to be a breadwinner, it becomes natural for the person to want to work hard all the time.
“I had a sister who died of leukemia, so I got very bad trauma from going to the hospital all the time. And that is the reason why I sort of stopped dreaming about being one,” she said. “Eventually, I found my way to enjoying this craft that I do. I think the dream of becoming an actress grew inside of me more than it being there right away.”
She shared that her hope is to inspire her eldest child, Callie Ahmee, as well. Her 19-year-old daughter is now studying to become a commercial pilot.
According to Dimples, she totally respects the way her daughter wants to do things and she also respects her timeline and what she wants to grow up into. She added that she’s so happy that her daughter is pursuing her dream.
The actress also said that her daughter is turning 20 years old in December and she’s only a few flights shy of getting her license as a commercial pilot. It can be recalled that Dimples announced that Callie Ahmee passed the Commercial Pilot License (CPL) exam in Australia.
