ANJO YLLANA – The former actor admitted that he and his younger brother, Jomari Yllana, are currently not on speaking terms.
Anjo revealed this during a YouTube interview with Aiko Melendez that was released on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. In the interview, Aiko mentioned that she and Jomari are not talking at the moment. Anjo interjected, saying, “Hindi kayo nag-uusap? Huwag kang mag-alala, hindi rin kami nag-uusap. Kayo hindi kayo nag-uusap, kami hindi kami nag-uusap.”
However, the comedian-TV host added, “Pero ayoko nang pag-usapan kung bakit di kami nag-uusap. I just don’t wanna lie na merong hindi tama. May problema kaming magkapatid, but that’s between us. As much as possible, ayoko na lang pag-usapan.”
Anjo seemed determined to make it clear that he wouldn’t condone any wrongdoing he sees from his younger brother. He said, “Basta katulad niyan, kinasal sila, di ba, so I’m happy for them. Ikinasal sila even though we did not talk.” Anjo was referring to Jomari’s recent marriage to Abby Viduya in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 5, 2023.
According to Anjo, he told Jomari that he was hurt when his brother and Aiko separated. “Sabi ko sa kanya, being the eldest, ‘Ang pakiusap ko lang sa yo, pag nakaroon ka ng girlfriend ulit, bigyan mo ng five years bago ka mag-asawa ulit. Kasi ayokong maggi-girlfriend ka, mag-aasawa ka, tapos maghihiwalay ulit.”
Anjo is currently working as a staff member for Senator Jinggoy Estrada. He mentioned that he is part of the staff handling requests for assistance from local government units that approach the senator’s office.
He added that his experience in public service has been a significant help. Anjo served two terms as a councilor in Parañaque and later became vice mayor. He also served as a councilor in Quezon City for two terms. Anjo also mentioned that in 2025, he plans to run as a councilor in Calamba, Laguna, where he currently resides.
