YEXEL SEBASTIAN – The toy collector has finally issued a statement after he and his wife were tagged in an alleged ₱200M investment scam.

Earlier, several overseas Filipino workers called attention to Sebastian and Agustin’s alleged investment scheme on the public affairs show of Senator Raffy Tulfo. Currently, the couple is in Nagoya, Japan, as confirmed by the Bureau of Immigration. According to BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco, no motion or case has yet been filed against them.

Amid the issue, Yexel turned to the social networking site Facebook, where he posted a statement. According to him, it’s time to defend himself and his whole family. He noted that initially, he didn’t want to speak up, even though they might look bad. He’s willing to accept it quietly and peacefully but the opposite happened, and things got really noisy.

Yexel noted that even their safety is now in jeopardy. It’s painful for him to see their entire family crying for their safety. In the later part of his post, the toy collector disclosed that it was on April 7, 2022, when Yexel and his family attended a ribbon-cutting event at a legitimate casino in Clark, Pampanga. After the ribbon-cutting, there was a significant event where a certain Boss HP, also known as Hector Pantollana, thanked all the high-ranking people at the casino and other branches.

According to him, the junket was legitimate, and everyone involved was legitimate. He stressed that the operation couldn’t be faked by anyone because one can’t have a junket in a casino if it’s illegal.

Meanwhile, in the casino world, the term ‘junket’ refers to a short-term gambling program arranged by a junket operator for one or more high-wealth players at a chosen casino, in conjunction with the relevant casino operator, on terms agreed between them.
