SHARON CUNETA AND GABBY CONCEPCION – The former couple opened up about their preparations for their “Dear Heart” reunion concert.
The former couple are reuniting for a grand reunion concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on October 27, 2023.
Sharon and Gabby appeared in the latest episode of “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” where they talked about their reunion concert. In the said episode, the two were separately interviewed by Jessica Soho in order to prevent spoiling their upcoming get-together.
Gabby revealed that he and Sharon have been planning the reunion concert for a while now.
Sharon, for her part, said that their reunion concert has been a request from their supporters for decades already. She added that they tried to bring up the idea of having a concert since they “couldn’t really agree on a movie together”.
According to her, she agreed on doing the reunion concert despite their history because “walang personalan, trabaho lang.”
Gabby Concepcion was asked about the “kilig factor” of their reunion concert. According to the actor, they’re hoping that there’s still that feeling and they’re also hoping that their supporters will be there.
In the same interview, Sharon and Gabby admitted that there was awkwardness during rehearsals.
The Megastar said that they haven’t been in each other’s company for such a long time and it’s not easy for her considering their history, but she just kept reminding herself that they have to be professional.
For his part, the actor said that it was unavoidable to think of the good times. He shared that they had good times together and it’s not something that can be forgotten.
It can be recalled that Sharon said during the media conference for “Dear Heart” concert at Okada Manila last month that she’s excited for their reunion concert as it’s a brand new experience that they will do together.
