Tamawo
Tamawo is said to be attracted to children and beautiful maidens. These beings can become invisible and only reveal themselves to those they desire to enchant. They lure their victims with food, transforming them into tamawo-like creatures if consumed. Refusing the food leads to the victims’ return, usually three to four days after being taken.
